Ashlynn and Josh - May 16, 2009
Ashlynn and Josh are deployed in Afghanistan and had originally planned a June wedding. Circumstances changed and they rescheduled for mid-May. The day was spectacular - the kind of day we wait all winter for.
Jamie and Steve - May 2, 2009
Jamie and Steve were married on a perfect May day - sunny and warm, gorgeous. They'd planned an elopement so the ceremony and coverage were short, but we got some really nice pictures of the two of them, and their families and friends. I just could not get enough of her smile - beautiful.
Amanda and Chad - Engagement - May 2, 2009
Amanda and Chad have a June wedding and got a really great day for their engagement pictures. I'm really looking forward to their wedding day.
Ashley and David - April 25, 2009
Ashley and David were married in a really great little church in rural Illinois. The day started gray and ended gray, with a lot of rain in between. The guys looked great, the girls were gorgeous, everyone had a great time and we got just enough dry time to send them off...
Jill and Sean - March 28, 2009
Jill and Sean got married on the day and evening of yet another Illinois snowstorm. The wind and rain howled all day. Fortunately the snow held off until after people could get home. In spite of it all, the wedding and reception were both spectacular.
Joslyn and Joe - March 27, 2009
Joslyn and Joe are getting married in June in Geneva. We got together for an hour or so for a few pictures. I enjoyed our time together very much and think we got some really nice pictures of the two of them. I wish we'd have more time, but their time was short and we just ran out of daylight. I'm really looking forward to their wedding...
Carrie and Bob - March 6-7, 2009
Carrie and Bob got married in Nauvoo, IL along the Mississippi River and had a reception in Geneva - just west of Chicago - the next day. Both were spectacular. The day of the wedding was really the first almost-spring day we had after a brutal winter. The sun shone all day and it was actually warm! The next day brought rain for everyone's drive toward Chicago, but the reception at Riverside Receptions was fantastic.
Gina and Bill - March 7, 2009
Gina and Bill called me a few weeks ago and wanted pictures of their ceremony and a few family portraits afterward. It was a really nice celebration of their marriage.
Chantel and Jason - February 14, 2009
Chantel called me over a year ago, close to last Valentine's Day. I've been looking forward to meeting her and photographing her wedding since that first phone call. The day turned out great, a little cold, but sunny with even a little snow from a couple nights before. Jason was a cool guy and as I hope you can tell, their friends liked to have fun. It sure was red and Chantel's dress was spectacular - see for yourself.
